Cows Don't Talk

For months now I've been using the comment that cows don't talk, they don't talk to you, they don't talk back, they give no advice, no criticism, no rules, no gossip, no rumors, nothing. They are just there, in the pasture or pen, waiting to be fed, watered, worked or turned out. Some are even waiting for the calf to be weaned since the calf now weighs 600 pounds (sorry Sadie, we love you and will wean your calf, I promise). So if you've ever wondered why it might be relaxing to feed every day, it's because it is quiet, they are all waiting on you and will most days follow you wherever you go.

Wouldn't we all love to be cowboys for a living!!!

Two great pictures I took the other day while feeding!!
