Coyote-
Some people say coyote, some people say coyotey - either way, they have surrounded us. We always have several close by that have to be taken care of, especially during calving season. But last night Ryan fed the cows in the dark, as soon as the cows started bellering, the coyotes started howling....from all sides. The dogs were quiet, the cat didn't move an inch, it was so odd.
Speaking of cats, we usually lose a few to coyotes, and have one that might have nearly escaped. He came back with no tail. I declared war on coyotes on January 1, 2011, and am going to have to up efforts since there are more now!
Ugh, coyotes are such a pain. Especially when they start to kill calves, then they are down right no good. I hope the "war" goes well!
